: : Looking for a J.Q. (possibly Quincy) and Grace Lewellen. Father was Sidney Harrison Lewellen, bn in MS. JQ and Grace was born between 1885 - 1910 possibly in MS. The story goes that Sidney got into a fight and killed a man then fled. We believe it was somewhere in MS. He then married my grandmother Margaret Ann Elizabeth May Belle Pruitt who was born in MS. Sidney died at the age of 60 in 1933 in Loretto TN. The last name could be spelled various ways. We don't know if he divorced his first wife or not.
: Looking for descendants of William Thomas Lewellen and wife Bessie Belle. They adopted a son (Billy jack bland,birth name,was an orphan train placement,from orlando , fl.) around 1930 from a orphanage in Arkansas.They lived in and around Hot Spring,Ark also in Prim, Ark. They lived in Cauthron, Ark for a time and may have come from Missouri.Storys told me of JiM Shoulders the rodeo champion as thier neighbor.Will lewellen was a mail carrier,by horse back in and aroung Bethel,Broken bow, Idealbell, ok. Will was born in 1896. He died in 1974 in Seminole, Ok.
