: Looking for a J.Q. (possibly Quincy) and Grace Lewellen. Father was Sidney Harrison Lewellen, bn in MS. JQ and Grace was born between 1885 - 1910 possibly in MS. The story goes that Sidney got into a fight and killed a man then fled. We believe it was somewhere in MS. He then married my grandmother Margaret Ann Elizabeth May Belle Pruitt who was born in MS. Sidney died at the age of 60 in 1933 in Loretto TN. The last name could be spelled various ways. We don't know if he divorced his first wife or not.
Looking for descendants of William Thomas Lewellen and wife Bessie Belle. They adopted as son (Billy) around 1930 in Arkansas. They lived in Cauthron, Ark for a time and may have come from Missouri. Will was born in 1896. He died in 1974 in Seminole, Ok.
