I am looking for any information on the decendants of Edmund and Sarah Carter Pettiford. I am the great great great granddaughter of Edmund and Sarah . they came from N.C. to Ohio and finally to Indiana around 1850. Edmund's had nineteen children and were are trying to locate possible connections between various branchs ofthe Pettiford family with Edmund and poassible his children. We know his daughter Clarinda Pettiford Evan had a son named James T. Pettiford and James had sons named Alwill and Gurney, Charles,Leroy and Albert. I am currently looking for any information on the children of Alwill Pettiford and Gurney Pettiford. I know that Gurney Pettiford,Sr. had a son named Gurney Pettiford who died in Colorado, Gurney Sr. died in Detroit in 1974 his son died in 1977. Alwill Pettiford had a son named James Pettiford he died in 6/7/1999 in Florida. His children may live in Toronto , Canada. Please contact me at ncj218@aol.com
