Hi Trudi,
I've also been stumped on Fletcher's from VA. But just in case there is some connection-my GG mother Josephine Harrison b circa 1879 was the daughter of Fannie or Fanny Fletcher. Fannie married John W Harrison. I have art work of Fannie but no info on her or her family.
As I look at all Fletcher's of VA-I will keep you in mind.
