C.L. Pryor was the son of Chesley Pryor and Susan
Young Pryor. He was born in 1855 in Fentress County, Tennessee. He married Mary Ellen Gunter daughter Ghe-go-heil and John Gunter. Ghe-go-heil was the daughter o Bushy Chief Bushyhead of the Cherokee Clan. Who were the sibblings of Chesley Levander Pryor and Mary Ellen Gunter Pryor.
