I am seeking information about the background and foreground of David Spencer (1800-1881) and his wife Mathilda Anderson Spencer. David was born in Pen Yan, New York and he died in Iowa.
David and Mathilda's children were:
1.) Thomas Milton Spencer, b. in NY; m. Catherine Vedder.
2.) Aminda Spencer, b. NY
3.) Alonso A. Spencer
4.) Gilbert Spencer
5.) Wallace Alfred Spencer, b. 1834 in NY; m. Jane Maria Perry in Wisconsin (she was born in La Porte, Indiana). These are my GGGrandparents. Their child, George Albert Spencer, b. 1860 in Wisconsin, m. Anna Elizabeth Winney in Osceola Co., Iowa> George Ellis Spencer (1894-1958); George Ellis was born in Iowa and died in southern California; his wife was Loretta Agnes Flanagan (1896-1985), also from Iowa. My mother is the daughter of George Ellis and Loretta Agnes Spencer.
6.) Samantha Spencer-?
7.) David James Spencer, b. 1837, Yates Co., NY; m. Anna Bevins from Baltimore.
8.) Albert Mackentire Spencer, b. 1843, NY
9.) Hiram Spencer
10.) Alanson Spencer
Am looking for David and Mathilda's parents and backgrounds on all of the children.
