My name is Francis(male) McNally, My whole family is from Newry, I now live in the Republic of Ireland. Can I be of assistance to you ?
I know of one group of McNally's who left Newry in the early 1800's I believe they started off in Virginia. One of their children was Lee McNelly, he was great figure in the Texas Rangers (there are several books on him). My Uncle is a great collector of family history, if you want to give me some of your ancestor's names I could check with him.
