I am currently trying to track down anything to do with my grandfather - and beyond. His name was Gilbert John Gover - the son of Charles Gover born around 1827 in Clutton, Somerset, England.
My ancestors seem to come from the West Country, being Somerset, Gloucestershire - and generally around the Bristol area.
Can anyone assist please?
