I had the family of Samuel BLACK come from New England to Gouverneur, St. Lawrence, then to Wayne Co, NY, next Huron Co, Ohio, than into Michigan. With them was the family of Luther SMITH. Do your Smith's have a "Luther". He wed Roxanna (Black) FELTON after she was widowed in Huron Co, Ohio and they moved to Michigan, followed by the Rev War veteran,her father, Samuel BLACK. Her brother Harvey BLACK had settled in 1836 in Hillsdale Co, MI.
