Hello,
I'm writing in hopes that maybe one of you two can help me make some connections in regards to the origins of my family here in America.
I'm a descendant of one Jeremiah Seaton, who was born in Castleberg, Co. Tyrone, IRL in 1775. He married a Nancy Neal, and apparently moved to Co. Donegal before departing with his family to America. His sons are listed(in my family tree) as having been born in Gleneely(sp), Killygordon, Co. Donegal.
This is as far back as I can trace the family, but when looking at the Nova Scotia Seaton line, I noticed that many of the common first names are the same as my family, as well as the fact that they both originate in the same area of Ireland. If anyone can shed some light on this subject, or help me to connect my branch of the family with the rest of the Seatons, it would be greatly appreciated.

: Hi Bruce,
: My name is Ken Seton (Seeton).
: I am originally from Nova Scotia, and my father's family descends from James Seeton/Seaton who came from Donaghmore, Co. Donegal, Ireland with his wife Martha Crawford in 1822 to Nova Scotia.
: I have a great deal of history regarding the family, and am looking to find all of the NS descendants, as well as that of the Scots' family in general.
: I'd love to hear from you.
