Hello, My name is Kari Brackney. I am currently trying to track down my family from Illinois and came across your web page. My family is from Indiana and Illinois. We too have Cherrrokee Indian in our family. My fathers name is William Brackney and I find it bizzare that your grandfather is also William Brackney. My grandfather's name is Vincent Brackney and he was born in Sullivan Illinois. There is a great possibility that we are related. I am unsure of our connection to any Ohio Brackneys but it seems as though the three states are close enough that it could be possible. I would love to find out if there is a relation between us.
