My mother's family was Hughes. There many in my family's history named John Hughes. I understand the family has many ties to Nelson County Virginia (formerly Amherst and Goochland Counties). I am tried to get a link to the John Hughes who married niece of Pocahontas. One daughter that I can find named Elizabeth. Would appreciate any help.
