The social security records are a great source of information and is worth a look. Ely and Rosella's children may be included provided the time frame in correct. My family immigrated to the US in 1886 and originally lived in Fall River, MA due to the textile industry there. They moved to NYC in the early 1900s. They had no Harrop relatives in NJ that I know of. The Harrop name is not that uncommon in northern England, especially near Manchester, where my family if from.
