I am looking for information on possible Linskey surname connections.

I have traced my family line back so far to an Edward LINSKEY, born circa 1840 in Ireland, location unknown. In 1880 he was living in New Jersey, married to a Mary LITTLE, and with 4 children, John, Mary Elizabeth, Patrick, and Katherine, all born in the US after 1873.

Edward may possible have had a brother, Michael LINSKEY, born circa 1849, married a Mary HASTINGS, died in Brooklyn, NY in 1885 and was buried in Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City, NJ. He had two known children, Edward A. LINSKEY and Maude Deering LINSKEY who married a Joseph Gorman.

I am looking for any information that would lead to where Edward LINSKEY came from in Ireland as well as any possible familial connections.
