Hi, I am descended from the Dales who lived in the Mow Cop (South Cheshire) and Kidsgrove area of North Staffordshire. I met a George Anchor when I was younger who lived in Kidsgrove (now deceased) who claimed to be a relative. I have some details of the Dales if they are of use to you.
