I would very much appreciate any information about my great-grandmother, Ann Cameron Marshall. I know very little about her except that she was b.abt. 1845 in Scotland, and died abt. 1880 in Maryland. I have her wedding document of 28 July 1865 that is from Kilmarnock, and she married John Cuthbertson Spier of Kilmarnock.Her age is listed as 20, and her parents as Ann Cameron or Marshall and John Cameron. Why did she not bear her father's name, and in what county was she born? My grandfather(Allan Spier)was her first child, b.3 Mar 1866 in Kilmarnock. Any help appreciated
