Looking for info on a James Mitchell that Married a Fern Opal Andrews. They may of been married in the 50's at some time but at some time they were divorced but dont know when. I have a older sister whose birth certtificate is in my mothers hand writing. I am trying to figuer out if James Mitchell is my sisters father. Fern went on to wed a Billy Eugene Woodrell. I belive but not for sure that my older brother belongs to James Mitchell. On some of the early christmas cards that my mother saved there was a photo of my older brother with the name Butch under it. But that is not the name he goes by. If you can be of any help please contact me. Both my parent are gone and after they both were gone is when we realized that they hadnt told us kids the truth. Both the Woodrell side and the Andrews side has a different story. The things that I am for sure about is that my mom was married to a James Mitchell at 1 time and Mitchell was her name when she married my father I saw the marriage certificate from where she married my father and second reguardless of the out come of the search for the truth nothing will change the fact that my older sister is my sister reguardless of who her father may be.
