I am a decedants of Edmund Pettiford. My grandmother was Orinda Pettiford Miller . She was the daughter of Joseph and Martha Weaver Pettiford. I am looking for any decendants of Pettiford's who left North Carolina in 1834 and settled in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan . I am also looking for any decendants of Gurney Owen Pettiford , the son of James T. Pettiford of Marion Indiana. Gurney died in Detroit in 1974 he had as least one son named Gurney ,Jr. who died in Colorado Springs. Any information about Gurney , his children or grandchildren is desired.
