parents of gggrandfather born in Maine

I am in search of the parents of my gggrandfather Isaac Booth who was supppposedly born in Maine
in 1792 and married Mary Grinnell born 1795 in June 1812. They had 9 children all born in Maine.
I have been unsuccessful in locating isaac's parents or where they came from. Some say that some
have come from England but I have no idea which part or where they came in the US. Has anyone out
there got a clue?
