William Stirton born Binns Scotland 1830s, a son of George Stirton and Janet Catton. William migrated to Australia and married Catherine Scott 1857 Sydney RC. Moved to Wellingrove,NSW then Nerrigundah, near Moruya,NSW. 5 children George, Patrick, Jennie, James & William. William died 1864 at Nerrigundah. Catherine m William Young 1870, two children Annie and John. Catherine died 1902, Sydney. Patrick Stirton m Bridget Neville 1886 Bathurst RC, dghter of Patrick Neville and Mary Shanahan. Chld William, Patrick,George, Jean, Vera James, Mary. George Stirton m Annie Gladys Gallagher 1918, 5 chld Jack, George, Elizabeth, Neville and James. Elizabeth m Patrick Reid, son of Thomas Reid and Nina Ruth Sunderland. Any information please. Diane Reid
