I am the great grandson of Percy Gardner Caldwell and Lillian Mae Caldwell, her maiden name
was Sallee. My Father was Clifton Gardner Caldwell, he was born in San Antonio, TX. I was
told he was adopted. I was told I too was adopted, but I am not sure. I recall going to a family
reunion as a child, I think it was in KY, I remember shooting the tip off my dads finger as he
assisted my aiming of his pistol.
