My name is Greg Brezicki [Brzezicki], and I am working on my family genealogy. I am looking for my
ancestral lineage. It is important thatwe try to get as much information as possible now before all of
the last generations of the family die out. I'm still looking to find the location of the church records for
1865-1895 [K.K.] , in the R.C. Catholic Church in Kamien Koszyrski.
My great-grand father was Boleslaw [Billy] Brzezicki and he was married to Macianna
Marcinkowski. My grandfather was Michael Peter Brzezicki married to Stefania Maria Jakubczyk.
My father was Benjamin Brzezicki and he came as a baby on the S.S. Carmania on Oct.26,1913
[NYC]. I have run into a dead-end and was hoping someone is also working on surnames from Kamin
Kamyrskyi, Ukraine. Also spelled Kamen Kazirskij. [Kamin-Kashyrs'kyy, Volyns'ka]. 51d38' 24d58'
north of Kowel [Kovel]
My problem is that both my grandfather Michal Brzezicki [March 17,1888] and grandmother
Stefania Jakubczyk [1891] were born after 1865. That leaves a 25 years gap for me to connect. So I
have been trying to locate the Kamen Kazirskij Church records from 1865 to 1890. I have no idea
where or if they are still around.
In these earlier records I have found a Piotr Brzezicki married to a Maryanna Jasinski. I found
seven children that they had; Joanna born, [Jan.7,1827] - Maryanna born, [Sept.9,1830] - Florentyna
born, [Nov.13,1832]she died,[July23,1841] - Narcyz {son}born, [Oct.28,1837] - Emilia born, [May 18,1835] - Eva born, [Dec.23,1839] - Adam born,
[Aug.1,1845]
