My grandmother was a Hazelton--Mary Blanche Hazelton. She was born in Digby and left. She married my grandfather in Petersburg, Virginia, in 1919 or so. A multi-talented woman, she met her first husband while working as a telegrapher in Cuba. He died during the WWI flu epidemic.
