Need documentation of death/burial of my 2gr grandmother, Carolyn (or Caroline) Hughes Bevis, b. about 1830-31 in PA, married to Daniel Bevis (b. NJ c 1831)who migrated with father, Joseph W. Bevis, to KY. Daniel found in tax records with father and brother, Thomas, in Lewis Co., KY. in 1850s, and is recorded in 1880 census in that location, but without wife, who had just borne a child in 1878. Daniel and Carolyn appear in census of 1860 and 1870 together with children, and Daniel alone with children and mother-in-law, also Carolyn Hughes, in 1880. Daniel remarried in 1880 after census, and then disappeared from paper trail. No death record for Carolyn OR Daniel in that area; have searched also in river counties in OH and IN with no luck. Help, anyone?
