I was wondering if there may be any relation as I am looking for ancestors of my great grandfather Edward Samuel James Lawrance, he was
born in the UK in 1867, married Alice Mabson born March 8, 1874 in Ipswich, Suffolk. I have found that she had an older sister(un-named)and
(2)younger brothers Robert and Arthur and that her mothers name was Eliza all from the Census of 1881 of Suffolk, also it is stated on her
death certificate her fathers name was Robert. I am not sure of the place or year of marriage of Alice and Edward, I do know they had a son
born in 1899 Robert Edward also born in UK. They all immagrated to Canada in 1905 not sure of point of entry or where they settled at
entry, but they settled in Victoria, BC in 1910. Robert return to England during the war and met and married Dorothy Kate Pressland in
July 2, 1919 in New Malden and Coombe, Surrey her fathers name was Alfred, it states he was deceased at the time of her marriage. She also had a brother(?) Robert
(witness on marriage certificate) and maybe a sister Emma (my fathers memory). My father (Roberts son) seems to also remember that Edwards
father may have been named Samuel and that the surname Cave is some how related.
