I have been tracking a William Henry Samples from Ky to Ill To Kan then to Okla. I can place them in Eureka, Kansas on Jan 3,1890 as one son (James Albert Samples) was born there on that date. Another son Will E. Samples (W.E.) was born in 1886 also in kansas, a baby samples died somewhere in Kansas, the family turned up in 1900 in Beckham, Co, Okla according to a land filing there. William Henry Samples, wife-Sarah Ann Fanning Samples, #1 son Harvey C. Samples was born in 1879 in Ill, the name of Samples sometimes dropped the S on documents, William could not read or write, but Sarah was educated. William was born in 1847 in Shelby Co, Ky. father was Andrew Sample/s. thks
