Richard Douglas & Catherine DeVine, children Michael & Sharron

Looking for cousins: Sharon and Michael DeVine, children of Richard Douglas DeVine and wife, Catherine.

Richard was close to my Uncle Jack while growning up, .. he was born around 1927- 29 (give or take) and the son of Horace DeVine and Mildred E. Cook.

My Uncle Horace Edward DeVine was born March 26, 1902 in LaRaysville, Bradford Co., PA and is buried in Schenevus, Otsego Co., NY (where my Aunt Mildred was born and raised.) Horace died February 1959, the year I was born but Mildred (although her name is engraved in stone), is not buried there.

Aunt Mildred was born May 9 1905 and died Oct 1981, the last I knew she was married to a man named Leonard Sternburg (or else in a serious relationship with him) and living in Richmondville or Cobleskill, Schoharie Co. after leaving Utica, NY.

Richard Douglas DeVine had a sister name Patricia who m. E.P.Tollerton (Edward Paul of Utica, NY) Patty was born around 1935 (same time as my Mom, .. and was close to my mother while growing up) and she died in 1979. Patty and E.P. did not have any children of their own but did adopt a girl and named her Cynthia who now has children of her own.

I have photographs of Richard & wife Catherine (who I believe - not certain - was of German roots, Richard having met her during the war?) and of Michael and Sharon when they were quite small. I think that during his service he was involved in radio and/or radar as his specialty.

I am the granddaughter of Mildred Cook's sister, Irene Eugenia Cook who m.1 John Henry "Jack" Miller of Johnson City, Broome Co., NY. Would like to reunite my Mother with her cousin Richard, she has often wondered how he is doing and what happened to him & if he's still alive(he left shortly after my Mom's brother died in Schenevus, ~1947), and would like to share our Cook, Houghton, and Dunham family history with my Aunt's descendants. Would also like to reunite them with Aunts that are still living before it's too late.
