I have researched my family ancestry, starting with the van Meterens from Holland, Jan Joosten Van Meteren's arrival in New Amsterdam in 1662 on the ship D/Vos(Fox), his son, Joost Jansen who married Sara DuBois in 1682 - down to the present generations.
