I am trying to find out where in Ill. my gr.grandfather was born, who his parents were and if there were any sib. The info. I have is: James Henry Greenwood b. Ill. abt. 1849, married Sarah Stone 1869 at Iberia Miller Co. Mo. Miller Co. census for 1880 show that James was born in Ill. and Father in Ohio, mother in Ill. Also show there were 2 kids Thomas B. (my grandfather) and Julues C. I have been in contact with Uncle Jules remaining living daughter but she doesn't recall hearing him talk about the Greenwood side of the family. Also Sarah's father,John B. Stone was born in Va. according to the 1850 Miller Co. census. Where in Va.? Who were his parents? I know that he married Susan Samantha Bailey in Barron Co. Ky. 1830. Also that he had at least 1 bro. named Julian C. who was married to an Elizabeth Anderson, as James married their daughter Jemima in 1882 after Sarah's death and that Sarah and Jemima were cousins.
