Having very hard time tracing grfa Burl H. Short born Vining, Kansas Territory , late 1800's. Died 1960 in Florida. Served Kansas and Washington state natnl guard. Married Irene Preston of Washington, 4 sons, 1 daughter. ( my fa Lyle Short)
