John Wesley Lankford, of Chipley, Ga., now known as Pine Mtn., Ga. married Sarah Jane Culpepper. She was killed in a tornado with two sons. John Wesley Lankford then moved into East Alabama near LaFayette, Al. He married two more times, wives died. The second wife's name is unknown, and he had two daughters by her, it was told to me.
