Looking for parent,siblings,etc.for this man.He was born March 2, 1860 about 20 miles "S" of San Antonio, Tx. in a mission Grfather was sopposed to have been in area in 1830's. Son was JWDenton 1st. Ist John Dento killed with 3 or 4 sons while out in range tending cattle. My Grf. John the 2nd. left an orphan at about 8 yrs. old. Said to have been sent to relatives in Ariz.?? First proof we have is his marriage to Oaka Stipe in S. D.(her father had ranch there) in 1897.My father John 3rd. was born in Benton Co. Ark.in 1907. The parents had left 4 children with Oaka's mother in Wash. Atfter 2 more children they were divorced. His youngest daughter (92yrs.) doesn't remember him. He was sopposed to have known a lot about horses(I suspect he russelled a few) , etc. If anyone knows of this fellow please let me know. thanks Karen in Id.
